P6 pupils took inspiration from the beautiful cherry blossom tree at the front of our school, carefully observing its shape, colours and details. Using pencil, they sketched what they could see before developing their work with watercolours. The children focused on adding fine detail and experimenting with different shades of pink to capture the delicate beauty of the blossom. This activity encouraged close observation, creativity and an appreciation of the natural world around us.
