Learning to Save Water with NI Water!
A big thank you to Anna from NI Water for visiting our KS2 assembly and giving us a fantastic talk all about water! We learned how we can save water at home and in school — like taking shorter showers and using reusable water bottles.
Anna also taught us something surprising: even though some wipes say they’re “flushable,” they don’t break down properly and can block our drains. Therefore we should only flush toilet paper.
We also explored the water cycle and discovered how NI Water cleans our water to make it safe for us to drink and use every day. It was a brilliant session and we’re excited to put our new water-saving tips into action!
NI water also donated each family a water saving gift that will be given out prior to Energy Saving Week....keep your eyes peeled!
