Year 6JS recently delivered an informative and engaging KS2 assembly focused on the importance of saving energy. The pupils confidently explained why reducing energy use is essential — not only to save money, but also to help protect our environment.
They shared practical ways we can all save energy both at home and in school, encouraging everyone to make small changes that can have a big impact. The assembly also helped prepare pupils and staff for the launch of our very own ‘Park Lodge Energy Saving Week.’
Year 6JS spoke clearly and with great confidence throughout, finishing their presentation with an excellent performance of the poem “Power Smart.” Well done to the class for delivering such a powerful message and inspiring our school community to be more energy aware.
