8 pupils from each class took on an exciting new challenge this week, as they received training in the ‘Nurture in 5’ programme to become ‘Nurture Buddies.’ During their session, the children explored five key strategies for supporting wellbeing, kindness and positive relationships within our school community.
After their training session, they worked in teams to plan and deliver their very own Nurture in 5 lesson. Their creativity and confidence shone through as they designed activities that helped pupils understand how to care for themselves and others.
We are incredibly proud of their leadership, empathy and enthusiasm. Year 6 have shown that they are true role models, helping to nurture a warm and supportive school environment for everyone. They look forward to their next training session.
