Year 2
Welcome to Primary 2! This year is an exciting stage in your child’s learning journey, where we continue to build on the foundations laid in Primary 1. Our P2 teachers are Mrs Jennings, Ms Gallagher and Miss Foley.
In Primary 2, we focus on strengthening Literacy and Numeracy skills through engaging, hands-on activities and play-based learning. We explore The World Around Us through topics such as the seasons, polar regions, fairytales and minibeasts.
We place a strong emphasis on emotional development and positive relationships, helping children to grow socially and emotionally. We always remind the children about our three rules ‘Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Ready’. We are dedicated to working closely with families to ensure every child thrives. We look forward to a fantastic year of growth, discovery, and achievement in Primary 2!
