Welcome to Year 6!
A very warm welcome to our Year 6 page — a vibrant and exciting place where learning, laughter and growth go hand in hand!
Our team is made up of three enthusiastic and experienced teachers: Miss Jennings, Miss Moore and Mr. Tweedy. Supporting the children every step of the way, are our wonderful classroom assistants: Eve, Mabel, Oonagh, Roisin, and Una — each bringing their own unique strengths and warmth to our classes.
In Year 6, we aim to inspire a love of learning while helping our pupils grow in confidence, independence and resilience. We follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum with a creative and engaging approach, ensuring every child is challenged, supported and celebrated.
This year is all about preparing for the exciting journey ahead, while making the most of every moment in the present. From cross-curricular projects and outdoor learning to developing key skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT, we strive to make every day meaningful and memorable.
We value strong partnerships with parents and carers and believe that working together is the key to helping our children thrive. Thank you for being part of our journey — we’re looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
